As I'm waiting for Sal Piro to make a play versus Steve Oliger (data issue), I see Dave Leifer slap down S(C)ARTING for 158 versus Hersom, who is forced to challenge. Had to break to give a little tour to a mom and her two kids, very interested in playing Scrabble. Got a little behind on the data entry, but was free enough to catch Jan Dixon's board, where she showed me WHOEVER and WHOMEVER on the same board. WHOEVER played through a tile, WHOMEVER extended from WHOM when in a previous turn, Dixon said she could either play WHOVER a second time or fish for the lucrative extension!
